10,000 years ago, the gods lived together on a legendary island city, awaiting the day they all would journey into secret lands beyond their shores. However, their curiosity about the world along with a desire to keep their kind safe from any threats led them down a dark and bloody path. That path would lead to their doom.

With their city drowned, many gods were thrown into our world to survive. Their strong spiritual vigor coupled with ordinary human bodies let them easily blend in with the natives of their new home, so alike to them that nobody could tell one from the other.

Today, some still walk among us. Some have taken names and lives for themselves, while others hide away in fear of who might discover them. Some still remember the golden city, some have completely forgotten it through the years, and some claim it will rise back out of the ocean one day in its full glory and might... or so they say.
