Reef is a lifelong lone wolf. Even in his early days as a Watchman on the shores of Paradise, the city of the gods, he tended to stay in his tower well past sunset watching the waves tug on the shore in the moonlight. Shortly Paradise's downfall, Reef was handpicked by Gabriel to survive the coming apocalypse. He was one of very few who did not fall in line with Anna and her servants when they took over the City. In the modern day, Reef is usually found near the coastlines, but given that water can be found pretty much anywhere in nature, so can he. He loves to travel and be engrossed in the natural world.

Reef has spent so much of his time on earth crossing paths with Anna and the mosters she sends after him. Anna takes pride in making him miserable, as when there's one boat he saves from a typhoon there's 100 more swallowed by the sea.

Reef has his own Place, a cabin hidden in on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia and surrounded by a spell of hiding. He only lets a few trusted gods pass through when needed, and has done all he can to keep it safe from anyone who might want to hunt down him or other gods. He has an even more hidden Place, a watchtower facing the ocean where he sits and waits for any other gods that might come down to earth. Though, he hasn't seen anyone new in a very long time.

KORA has the earth in her blood, almost literally. Kora LOVES nature with her whole being, and will equally love to be in a tropical forest or a skyscraping mountaintop. Everything is a part of nature, after all. It's all connected, Kora says.

Kora has a talent for seeing beyond the physical world, but whether its natural or learned she doesn't know (and doesn't really care). Being born and raised after Paradise was gone, Kora was never formally introduced to its culture - both the good or the bad. Instead, she adapted quickly to the human world and blended in with little work. She was gifted fragments of seeing-stones from Paradise from her parents thousands of years ago, but after they died she was left to try and solve their mysteries on her own. While an onlooker might see her sleeping for days on end, Kora is actually dep in meditation, stretching her spiritual muscles with the help of her crystals. She guards them with her life, and keeps some of her more precious ones as piercings and jewellery so they can't get lost easily.

Kora is bright and bubbly, and quite different from Angela who she works with. She loves to annoy her with her crude jokes and promiscuous personality. Angela dislikes her.

Messenger angel is kind of redundant.

GABRIEL used to deliver messages to the gods in Paradise. But after a while, they didn't want to listen anymore. Many years later, he chose to live a life on Earth, and gave up his position and power to experience life for himself. However, he hasn't lost all his tricks yet! You'd only be able to find out where he lives if he lets you, which is always just around the corner...

Gabriel is very old, older than he or anyone else can remember. After watching humanity go awry one day, he chose to shut himself in and focus on his work of sending out messages to the other gods that might be out there. He heads up a Place called the Office, a hidden workplace where he and countless other gods keep watch over the earth and help Gabriel with his job. He reports to his boss, someone that nobody's has clearance to talk to except him, otherwise they'd be vaporized. In the Office, it's always 5 minutes till the end of the work day.

Gabriel is a friendly person to be around and talk with. He's seen it all, and has a lot of wisdom and experience to share with someone who would listen. He's not naive, but since he's been inside the Office for so long he can tend to get a bit scatterbrained. His human body isn't able to keep up with juggling multiple spiritual jobs sometimes.

ANGELA is a goddess of music, or at least that's what she assumes she is. Prior to sometime around 1994, she doesn't remember a whole lot. What she does remember is snow, blood, and a pair of glowing red eyes. And ever since then, those eyes have been following her anywhere she goes. In the present day you might find Angela running an obscure late-night radio station out of her van and tapping her finger to a song nobody else can hear, staring off into the distance form hours at a time.

Angela sees and hears the rhythm of everyday things, all the time. A car starting up in a parking lot downtown are the trombones to the trumpets of a seagull call high above (or more accurately, a broken kazoo). Angela has little patience for people who don't think things through or say whatever comes to their head, the irony being she's usually just as bad at keeping her mouth shut.

She lives in Vancouver, and regularly interacts with Reef. Angela was taken care of by him after her accident, and they stick by each other like an uncle and niece. The both of them are always on the lookout for any new gods, and in a big metropolitan city, there could be one just next door.

Ever since ancient times, CUPID has found ways to swindle money out of the lesser beings that live on Earth. And since he met Venus, it's only gone uphill from there.

Cupid and Venus are rarely seen without each other. Of course, this is mostly for marketing themselves. Once the cameras are off, they couldn't care less about each other unless they have some new scheme after their latest scam. Not to say that they hate each other (far from it), but that's their rythm: scam hard, play hard and do whatever and whoever they want. Cupid is a big personality with an even bigger wallet, and him and Venus protect their fortune very, very closely. Cupid has his own Place, a steamy tropical getaway hidden away on some faraway coast, where gods come to escape the threat of the outside world and... take a load off.

Cupid may act like a moron sometimes, but he is a genuine threat when provoked. If he can't get you on his good side, he'll use whatever force necessary to get you to sign on the line.

Presently, Cupid is a hustler who sells his self-help course to those defenseless enough to consider it. Hey, he didn't say it works for everyone, he just said it COULD. He's not liable for anything afterwards.

Anna was once a regular goddess in Paradise. However, her curiosity of things beyond the island led her to leave through the Veil and into the outside world. When she came back, she was not the same.

Anna came to Paradise the same way as all the other gods: emerging from the ocean onto it's sandy shores. She didn't particularly stand out, except for her interest in science and figuring out how the world worked. One day she vanished, though nobody noticed. But when she came back, they noticed. She seemed to have knowledge far beyond what the rest of the gods should know, and eventually became their queen. It'd because of her that the city was eventually taken away.

Anna has stayed hidden since then, only stepping out of the shadows when absolutely necessary. Her home has become Elysium: a Place created by her to lure in unsuspecting gods and put them under her twisted experiments. She sends out Red, her brainwashed bounty hunter, to "retrieve" new gods when her stock runs low. Her goals are fuzzy to others, but some say she is trying to cure death...

Anna is cold and emotionless, even when things are going her way. The only thing she fears is the shadow always in the corner of the room, watching her and whispering over her shoulder like a cold needle in the back of her neck.

Smith used to be good at his job, now only a tsunami could get him out of his beach chair.

There were a lot of talented gods in Paradise, one of them being Smith. He was the best of the best when it came to science and nature, and he was more than happy to share his talents with anyone who wanted to learn, including Anna. After she vanished, Smith kept working, keeping things to himself. But after she came back, Smith saw the skills he passed on become warped and stretched to fit whatever Anna wanted to accomplish. Smith rejected her, and in so doing, was banished to leave through the Veil. Since then, he's travelled all over the world seeing what humans have come up with. Nothing like what he would make, of course, but nonetheless interesting.

Smith has made himself nearly indesructible. He's covered his skeleton with gold and silver untouched by Anna, and therefore can't be sniffed out by her or her minions. But in doing so, he's become paranoid that she's still watching him. For many years he's been hiding out on an island in the middle of nowhere, a Place where he assumes she will never be able to find him... and where he can live in peace.

Ever heard of seeing Red?

Red is Anna's bounty hunter. His job is to track and capture any wayward gods for her twisted experiments. He's been brainwashed to obey only her, and he has no other will outside of service. When he's not out in the world hunting down gods, he's usually found patrolling the cold hallways of Elysium. When the other gods see him walking past, they know that one wrong move will get them "disciplined".

Red is a master of blending in with the crowd. If he wants to be seen, he'll be the last thing you do see. Most ordinary people are safe from him, as he only goes after gods. However, he's found the most effective way of sniffing them out is to stirr up human conflict in the hope of picking them out of the crowd. Often they run away from the fight, letting him have easy prey. But make no mistake, the ones who put up a fight will be met with one.

Red is rarely unmasked and speaks very little, letting his presence do the talking.

OLYMPIA had gifts in a league of her own. She was the one Gabriel chose to visit first whenever he came down to Paradise. Over time, she came to be blinded by her talents of reading stars, and thought that she didn't need to see him anymore. Gabriel was saddened by this, and as a lesson he revomed her godly abilities. Since Paradise was taken away, she has spent that time searching for a way to get back what was taken from her. Though, nothing has seemed to work yet.

Olympia is a part-time storm watcher and full time conspiracy theorist. How she manages to pay for her equipment and everything else, nobody knows. She's often huddled away on an old, dusty computer somewhere trying to make sense of all the strange things she's seen over the years. There's so much to learn on the world wibe web, and there's photo proof too! Who would lie about things as dangerous as a giant man-eating moth?

Olympia is not very social. She's not overly gullible, but her cone of focus is so shallow she often doesn't thing things through if they sound too good to be true. After all, she has actually seen some strange stuff over the years. Anything could happen.

Venus is confident in both her abilities and her looks. She uses any method she can to her advantage in the chase for more. She'll pull you in with a grin until you give her your wallet willingly or she takes it behind your back.

Presently, Venus is a podcaster and produces her own music. Some say that her latest album was made purely to shill her crypto, but as long as there's no paper trail, who cares?

HELA was born under the freezing valleys of Asgard almost 2000 years ago. Being overlooked for most of her life led her to develop and unhealthy obsession with getting attention, usually with violence.

Hela was the smallest in her family. From a young age she learned to protect herself physically and emotionally. Her father taught her that the outside world was a terrible, violent place, and that the only way to keep safe was to only listen to her family. Asgard was all there was for her and it was her home, even if most of her home treated her like trash. Her violent outbursts eventually got under control after many years, and she became a talented yet inependent warrior for her family. Whenever they needed another giant outpost flattened, they brought her along and never lost.

However, after a deathly fierce battle in which she lost most of her hearing, Hela was deemed too dangerous to her family and put to sleep, so they could wake her when needed. Unfortunately for them, they never got the chance to.

Nearly 2000 years later Hela is cold, wet, scared and running away from a huge shadow holding a knife that could rival her sword.

LOKI lives for the stage.
